I posted some pics of this Night Lords Warp Talon conversion on Bolter and Chainsword last week. In that post I received a number of comments pointing out that I had not used any gold trim. This gold trim is part of the traditional Night Lords heraldry and I totally missed it... so here it is with some trim added. I must say I think it has added a great deal to the model. It looked rather plain before but I was worried about adding too much colour and losing the Midnight Clad style. Thankfully the gold has added some punch without lifting the tone of the model too far.

Really fighting the urge to make a project of this rather than a one off...

I am working on a side project at the moment which will be going up on eBay when it is done. I have wanted to try my hand at the Night Lords scheme for quite some time to see how easy it is to do... it has actually turned out a great deal easier than I had expected. This is bad because now I might feel the need to paint more!
